Norwegian Reindeer Transport

Lapland may be the mythical home of Santa Claus and his famous hoofed hauliers, but police in the far north of Norway were astonished recently to find three of the local reindeer packed into the back seat of a car. (Source)
There were two more reindeer in the luggage compartment and the police noted that "none of the animals were wearing seatbelts".  As if it had been any better if they had the seatbelts on.

Also note how their ears have been censored in the photo. This is because the owner cuts marks in their ears to show that they belong to him/her.
